Peabody is a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 51,251 at the 2010 census, and in 2018 the estimated population was 53,278. Peabody is located in the North Shore region of Massachusetts, and is known for its rich industrial history.
Peabody is also the location of the Salem Country Club, a privately-owned country club with a professional golf course, which hosted the U.S. Senior Open in 2001 and 2017, and the U.S. Women’s Open in 1954 and 1984.
